Forest Bathing Hike
Healdsburg Ridge Open Space Preserve
Saturday May 11th, 10am to 1pm

Description:

Drop into the sounds, sights, and smells of nature on a forest bathing hike with LandPaths, Sierra Wagner, and the City of Healdsburg. Take some time for yourself to unplug and breathe in the fresh air at this beautiful open space preserve in Healdsburg. We'll travel slowly along a gentle 2.2 mile loop trail. Using mindful forest bathing practices, meditation and gentle stretches we will connect more deeply with our own inner wisdom and the wisdom of nature. These simple practices can be used on your own when you're stressed, overwhelmed, or just needing a break. While the hike is open to people of all ages, please note that the majority of the hike will be held in quiet contemplation - it might not be appropriate for kids that have more rambunctious energy that they need to get out :)

More about Sierra Wagner: Sierra's work has been informed by her own experiences with injury and rehabilitation. In each instance, she successfully used yoga asana, meditation, and philosophy, in combination with self myofascial release, to facilitate her own healing journey—both physical pain and mental/emotional suffering. Her goal is to guide and assist people in their own empowerment and their capacity to heal themselves. Her heartfelt intention is to develop your potential to experience greater confidence and contentment.
