Join LandPaths and Ag + Open Space District for wildly creative Earth Day celebration! We’ll gather at magical Myers Preserve, next door to Ocean Song in West Sonoma County! We’ll create outfits from lichen, leaves, and other materials of the forest & grasslands for a fabulous outdoor fashion show. This outing is part of LandPaths' new Branch Out series, centering LGBTQ+ community members with the purpose of creating a sense of belonging and inclusive spaces in the outdoors. Allies are welcomed!

Difficulty:

Most of the walking on the preserve will be on gravel roads that are generally flat with some incline at certain spots. If you have any questions please feel free to give us a call or send an email.

What to bring:

Bottle of water and lunch for the day
Comfortable clothing to protect from the sun (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
Comfortable walking shoes (that can get dirty)

What LandPaths will provide:

snacks and light refreshments
additional clothing and fun pieces for the fashion show

Where we will meet you:

Driving and parking instructions will be sent out 2-3 days before outing by Outing Field Specialist Roxy.

Details:

We will ask you to sign a waiver of liability
There is no potable water on the property
We ask that you leave your pets at home for this event.

Staff:

Our staff is certified in the minimum of CPR and First Aid, and they have training and years of experience working in outdoor spaces. All staff has had their backgrounds checked through fingerprinting.
