Help prepare Rancho Mark West
teaching garden for camps!
¡Ayúdanos a preparar la huerta para los
campamentos de verano!
Fourth Saturday of the month - cuarto sábado del mes
9am to 1pm
Rancho Mark West, a 120-acre community hub, outdoor classroom and protected open space preserve in the Mayacamas Mountains, 25 minutes northeast of downtown Santa Rosa (off Calistoga/Saint Helena), has been stewarded by LandPaths in partnership with Jim and Betty Doerksen since 2011, LandPaths has held summer nature camps here since 2013. Come on out and help us prepare the garden so that Owl Camp campers can enjoy it throughout the summer! We need all hands on deck to get the plants into the ground so they can start growing before the kids arrive on the land!
If you are unable to participate in the stewardship day, you can help us by donating seedlings to get into the ground - strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, basil, etc., seeds, garden gloves and tools. For the Garden Stewardship Day, please bring:

Food and snacks for yourself and your family

Garden gloves, if you have them

Sun/rain protection
Does rain mean the workday is cancelled? The stewardship workday will move forward if there is a light drizzle, but a theavy rainstorm will cancel. Please call 707-544-7284 (then press 1) after 7am the morning of the stewardship day if the weather feels questionable. If you don't hear a notice of cancellation on the outgoing voice message, the stewardship day is moving forward.

¿Si llueve se cancela la actividad? Solo se cancelará con una lluvia fuerte. Llame al 707-544-7284 (luego presione 1) después de las 7 a. m. de la mañana del día de la administración si el clima parece cuestionable. Si no escucha un aviso de cancelación en el mensaje de voz saliente, el día de la corresponsabilidad avanza.
