Join TrekSonoma and Sonoma Mountain Preservation on April 13th and 14th for an overnight weekend wander across Sonoma Mountain. W
ildlife ecologist Meghan Walla-Murphy and historical ecologist Arthur Dawson are joining together to tell a holistic story of our beloved mountain.  Inspired by our cherished community member Pat Eliot, we will walk amongst the spring wildflowers and share meals under the stars.

Though a quarter of a million people live within a dozen miles of Sonoma Mt., this iconic landmark remains undiscovered and barely explored by Sonoma County locals. Over two days we will walk across varied terrain, from ridge top trails and vistas of the bay to the deep dark shade of redwoods groves. On Saturday night we will camp at a local vineyard and enjoy local foods prepared by a slow food gourmet. April wildflowers will blanket the hillsides while we track the stories of wildlife, waters, and human history. Experience the reasons why Pat Eliot dedicated her time to helping people gain access and preserve this important landscape.

LandPaths heartily encourages those for whom cost is a barrier to apply for the limited number of work-trade scholarships available.  As a community institution LandPaths is committed to helping people experience the breadth of our programming so that cost is not a barrier!
