Healdsburg Ridge Trail Team -- Orientation for New Trailkeepers

Do you love walking and want to be part of the care and tending of Healdsburg Ridge Open Space Preserve? Are you looking for ways to get outside and get a little exercise? Do you love the idea of growing community with nature? Joining the new Healdsburg Ridge Trail Team might be just the opportunity you've been looking for!
As part of the Healdsburg Ridge Trail Team, you will cultivate a positive presence on the trails, record observations as needed, report problems and needs, and educate the public.
The trail team is ideal for those who enjoy using the trails, love to get outside and have fun, meet new friends, and help keep the preserves clean, safe and healthy. The time commitment is flexible.
At this orientation, LandPaths staff will:
- Explain how the program works.
- Orient you to particular seasonal needs at Healdsburg Ridge.
- Learn about the specific skills and passions you bring to the team.
- Distribute support materials (manual, map, and identification badge).
Please Bring:
- Walking shoes
- Hat and/or sun screen
- Water bottle
