Join Biologist Kate Symonds of the Fitch Mountain Association for a walk through the woods of Healdsburg Ridge to enjoy the arrival of spring wildflowers! We’ll hike and talk throughout the 160-acre preserve exploring on our way to the “Russian River Overlook”. Our walk will be a short distance (2-3 miles) with a few moderate to steep grades, taking us through oak woodlands, grasslands and serpentine chaparral. Pre-registration required at www.LandPaths.org
Directions and Location: Healdsburg Ridge Open Preserve -Arabian Way trailhead. Street parking.
Take the Dry Creek exit and go east.
Turn left (north) on Healdsburg Avenue and go about 1 mile.
Turn right (east) onto Parkland Farms Boulevard and travel to the eastern end of the road (about ¾ miles).
Turn right onto Bridle Path and look for on-street parking.
Trailhead is at the eastern end of Arabian Way

This event is free thanks The City of Healdsburg Community Services/Parks and Recreation. Donations are welcome.

There is no restroom or water at property.

Though dogs are allowed at Healdsburg Ridge, we ask that you leave them at home for this outing

There is poison oak on the property and (as everywhere) ticks. Please do a thorough tick-check at home after the outing
