Description

Place Matters: A Tale of Two Neighborhoods

Saturday, March 30th 9am-2pm

Join LandPaths, Community Action Partnership, Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway and community partners in this unique urban hike that explores the tale of two Santa Rosa neighborhoods: Bennett Valley and Roseland. Released in 2014, A Portrait of Sonoma County analyzes the health, access to knowledge, and living standards of the various neighborhoods of the county. We will dive in to The Portrait and hear stories of resilience and action. Using this lens, we will be able to identify disparities and discover what actions to take in order to truly create a sustainable, just county. We will particularly look at community access to open spaces. This outing is made possible by the Ag+Open space district.
