Join LandPaths, Ag + Open Space, Shannon Rogge, LMFT, and Taylor Bright, students of the UC Naturalist Program, for a morning workshop at Riddell Ecological Preserve in Healdsburg. This property is nestled in the hills above Dry Creek just outside Healdsburg; scarecely visible from anywhere nearby, this 400 acre parcel of California wildness is home to magnificent, thriving, regeneration strands of oak and madrone along with lowly fescue bunch grasses, open meadows and fourth generation redwood, "fairy rings"--undoubtedly matched by equally vibrant communities of animals.

This workshop aims to create a safe space for individuals to both return to and further explore their biological, psychological and inherently instrinsic connection to the natural world. Through cultivating relationship with ourselves and the land by holding space outdoors in a community setting, sharing practices and conducting exercises from an eco-pshychological approach, and learning about the ways the natural world communicates through the underground mycelial 'neural network' of the planet, we hope to deepen the undersanding, awareness and embodiment of the innate interconnectedness of humanity and the natural world on a mental, emotional, and somatic level. This workshop is best suited for adults; teens ages 13+ are welcomed.
