Join Biologist Kate Symonds of the Fitch Mountain Association for a walk through the woods of Healdsburg Ridge to enjoy the arrival of spring wildflowers! We’ll hike and talk throughout the 160-acre preserve exploring on our way to the “Russian River Overlook”. Our walk will be a short distance (2-3 miles) with a few moderate to steep grades, taking us through oak woodlands, grasslands and serpentine chaparral.

Location: Healdsburg Ridge Open Preserve -Arabian Way trailhead. Street parking.

Take the Dry Creek exit and go east.
Turn left (north) on Healdsburg Avenue and go about 1 mile.
Turn right (east) onto Parkland Farms Boulevard and travel to the eastern end of the road (about ¾ miles).
Turn right onto Bridle Path and look for on-street parking.
