Holiday Gathering at Rancho Mark West 2019

Due to heavy rains in the forecast, this year's Holiday Gathering will be post-poned untill Dec 8th.

LandPaths and Ag + Open Space invite you to join our 18th annual community celebration of the winter season. Rancho Mark West is a 120 -acre forested property protected forever by Ag +Open Space. Enjoy a walk and tour along beautiful, flowing Mark West Creek followed by music, hot cider, and wreath-making & other holiday crafts. All are invited to join in on the seasonal fun along the Mountain.  

What if it's raining? We'll go in a light to medium rain but a heavy rain may affect our plans - if in doubt, call our Outings Line at 544-7284 (then press 1) after 10am. If no special message, it's a go!

WHAT TO BRING:

• A potluck dish to share+ your own re-usable cup, plate, and utensils

• Warm clothing in layers, a blanket, picnic chair, or something to sit on

• Instruments, if you'd like!

• Clippers (we recommend you label yours!), extra wreath-making additions

DETAILS:

• There is no charge for this outing. It is made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who funded the Ag+District’s work with a quarter-cent sales tax, in partnership with the District’s non-profit partner, LandPaths.

• This is an "Open House" style event.

• You will be asked to sign a liability waiver when you arrive.

• No pets or smoking are permitted and absolutely no smoking pets!

• There are outhouse/portolet restrooms on site.

WHERE: Rancho Mark West - 7125 St. Helena Road, Santa Rosa Ca, 95404 

From Santa Rosa: take Highway 12 towards Sonoma and go left at Calistoga Road. Take Calistoga Road 3.3 miles up and over a short grade (approx. 5 minutes from intersection with Highway 12). Turn right at St. Helena Road. 7125 St. Helena Road is approximately 2.6 miles from the intersection with Calistoga Road. You will know you are almost there when you emerge into a clearing of Christmas Trees on the right. From Sonoma take a right on Calistoga Road and follow the above instructions. Turn into the driveway and look for LandPaths staff to direct you to parking. Allow 25 minutes drive time from downtown Santa Rosa.

LandPaths le invita a unirse a nuestra 18a celebración anual de la comunidad de la temporada de invierno. Rancho Mark West es una propiedad boscosa de 120 acres protegida para siempre por AG +Open Space. Disfrute de un paseo y un recorrido a lo largo de la hermosa arroyo de Mark West, seguido con música, sidra caliente, creación de coronas navideñas y otras manualidades. Todos están invitados a unirse a la diversión de temporada a lo largo de la montaña.

¿Qué tal si llueve? El evento se llevará a cabo con lluvia ligera pero lluvias fuertes podrían cambiar los planes. Si tiene duda, llame a la línea de información al 544- 7284, y oprima 1, después de las 10:00am. Si no hay un mensaje especial, seguiremos con los planes.

Qué traer:

• Platillo de comida o bocadillos (opcional) para compartir y sus propios platos, vasos, y utensilios reusables

• Ropa calentita para la ocasion, una cobija, silla, o algo en que sentarse 

• Instrumentos musicales si así lo desea.

• Tijeras, adornos para su corona navideña

• Este evento es gratuito gracias al Ag+Open Space y coordinado por sus amigos en LandPaths.
• Favor de traer sus propios vasos, platos, cucharas o tenedores para minimizar la basura.
• Este evento se llevará a cabo al estilo de "Casa Abierta"
• Le pediremos que firme un formulario de libertad de responsabilidad antes de la caminata
• ¡No se permiten mascotas o fumar en el evento y absolutamente no se permiten mascotas fumando!
• Habrá dos baños portátiles disponibles.
