Stewardship Workday at Ocean Song

Come lend a hand at LandPaths' newest preserve! With it's beautiful native grasslands, lush gardens, oak woodlands, and views for miles, Ocean Song is an ecological and cultural treasure.

Join us for a morning of stewardship and community at this beautiful preserve!

Tasks will include preserve clean-up and putting gravel around water infrastructure to protect it in case of a wildfire.   

 

Meeting Time,  Location & Directions:
We will meet at 9:30 am at the preserve entrance

Directions to Ocean Song –  From the town of Occidental, head west on Coleman Valley Rd for 1.8 Miles. At the stop sign, turn right to remain on Coleman Valley Rd and continue an additional 3.4 miles to the main entrance to the preserve, which will be on your left. 

The Driveway will be marked by a LandPaths sign
Staff or volunteers will direct you to parking. 

What to Bring:
Picnic lunch, snacks & water, backpack
Sturdy boots or shoes that can get muddy
Work gloves, eye protection
Hat and sun screen 

Details Details:

You will be asked to sign a liability waiver.
There is a restroom on the property
There is no potable water available on the property.
No pets or smoking are permitted.
