Session One, July 20-24, Art and Storytelling in Nature 

There are many ways to connect to nature, and this week we will focus on building this connection through storytelling and art! We will practice tracking, nature journaling, mandala making, skit writing, storytelling, and much more. Campers will create stories based on their own experiences throughout the week while also learning about the Bohemia Preserve caretakers encounters with wildlife on the land. Special guest Anne Carla Rovetta will share her nature based approach to science and art education through interactive stories and art projects. 

Special Guest Anne Carla Rovetta: Award-winning storyteller, key-note speaker, educator,and artist. Everything Anne Carla does is nature based. Her scientific training and extensive field research give her unique insights about the remarkable flora and fauna that are the focus of her presentations. Not only do her well-chosen words and demonstrative style create beautiful images in the minds of her listeners, but her stunning paintings, created simultaneously alongside her story, serve to further illustrate and engage her message.

Camp Details:

• Cost:  $350 Before April 15th, $375 after
• Junior Mentor tuition: $150 per week (Ages 14+)
• Dates: July20-24, 2020
• Days: Monday thru Friday
• Optional Overnight: $75 July 23rd
• Time: 9:45AM to 4:00PM  

Registration and Payment Information:

• Full payment is due at the time of registration. There will be no deposits or partial payments (aside from scholarship recipients).
• Junior Mentor tuition: $150 per week
• Optional overnight for youth 9 and up – Thursday, July 23rd. You will be asked to sign up for an overnight in the next step. You may also sign-up and pay the week of camp as long as there are spaces remaining.
• Overnights will require an additional payment of $75 for all Campers and Junior Mentors.
• You will need to register for each session separately.
• Upon registration, you will be required to fill in the electronic camp forms for that child.
• Please complete your registration online whenever possible. There may be situations when online registration is not possible or is too cumbersome. In this case, please call directly to register over the phone: LandPaths Education Staff 707-544-7284 ext. 118. We can process credit card payments over the phone, and we do take checks and cash.

• Partial Scholarships and/or transportation scholarships may be available. If you are in need of tuition and/or transportation assistance, please fill out a Scholarship Application and return it to Elias Lopez: Elias@landpaths.org, 618 4th St., Suite #217, Santa Rosa, CA 95404 no later than May 10^th. Scholarships are available based on need and funding availability. Each scholarship recipient is asked to pay a $50 minimum. LandPaths covers the remaining tuition for those most in need. 
• Filling out the scholarship application does not guarantee a scholarship.

 Cancellation Policy:  Full payment is due on registration. $50 of your payment is considered "non-refundable." You can receive a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee, until two weeks prior to the first day of camp.  Cancellations made after less than two weeks before the first day of camp will not receive a refund.

Los jóvenes mayores de 14 años están invitados a unirse a nuestro programa de mentores para jóvenes.

• Costo: $ 350 antes de Abril 15, $375 despues

Detalles de Pago:

• No se aceptaran depósitos o pagos parciales (aparte de becados) en 2019. Sin embargo, sólo $50 de su pago se consideran "no reembolsables". Los reembolsos se ofrecerán hasta dos semanas antes del comienzo de la sesión de campo para el cual se ha registrado, reembolsa completa menos $50.
• Necesitará registrar a cada niño por separado.
• Noches opcionales para jóvenes de 9 años en adelante: jueves el 4 de julio. Se le pedirá que se registre para pasar la noche en el siguiente paso. También puede inscribirse y pagar en el campamento siempre que haya espacios disponibles.
• Durante la noche se requerirá un pago adicional de $ 75 para todos los campistas y mentores junior.
• Al elegir una opción de pago, inmediatamente se le pedirá que llene los formularios electrónicos del campamento para el niño.

En 2012, comenzamos a ofrecer un servicio de furgonetas desde Roseland hacia y desde nuestros campamentos, ya que nos dimos cuenta de que el transporte era el principal obstáculo para muchas familias.
