Session Two, July 27-31, Ancient Living Skills

This week we will focus on the skills our ancestors crafted to survive in the wilderness. Throughout the week we will explore different techniques and lessons from these earlier times, from pottery making with clay to friction fire, tracking, and more. Special guest Tamara Wilder will also guide a whole day of fiber arts, ancient tools and technology, games and more to further connect us to ancient ways of living and how they have influenced our lives today.

Session Two Special Guest Tamara Wilder: A deeply experienced teacher and researcher of ancient living skills (Paleotechnics), Tamara has a huge range of highly interactive lessons and activities such as fiber processing, tool making, and stick throwing. Her activities are developed around ancient technologies that help us understand more deeply how ancient peoples learned to survive and thrive in connection with the land and its resources.

Camp Details:

Cost: $350 Before April 15th, $375 after
Junior Mentor tuition: $150 per week (Ages 14+)
Dates: July27-31, 2020
Days: Monday thru Friday
Time: 10:00AM to 4:00PM

Registration and Payment Information:

Full payment is due at the time of registration. There will be no deposits or partial payments (aside from scholarship recipients).
Junior Mentor tuition: $150 per week
You will need to register for each session separately.
Upon registration, you will be required to fill in the electronic camp forms for that child.
Please complete your registration online whenever possible. There may be situations when online registration is not possible or is too cumbersome. In this case, please call directly to register over the phone: LandPaths Education Staff 707-544-7284 ext. 118. We can process credit card payments over the phone, and we do take checks and cash.

Partial Scholarships and/or transportation scholarships may be available. If you are in need of tuition and/or transportation assistance, please fill out a Scholarship Application and return it to Luis Orozco: Luis@landpaths.org, 618 4th St., Suite #217, Santa Rosa, CA 95404 no later than May 10^th. Scholarships are available based on need and funding availability. Each scholarship recipient is asked to pay a $50 minimum. LandPaths covers the remaining tuition for those most in need.
Filling out the scholarship application does not guarantee a scholarship.

Cancellation Policy: Full payment is due on registration. $50 of your payment is considered "non-refundable." You can receive a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee, until two weeks prior to the first day of camp. Cancellations made after less than two weeks before the first day of camp will not receive a refund.

Becas parciales o becas de transporte pueden estar disponibles. Si llena una beca no se significa que automáticamente recibirá una beca.
