Session Three, August 3-7, Wilderness Skills, Surviving and Thriving 

This week we will weave together survival skills and storytelling in nature. Whether kids have attended previous sessions in the summer or this is their first week, this session will serve to integrate and emphasize the importance of both surviving and thriving in nature! Kids will have the opportunity to learn about nature survival skills like tracking, map reading, compass navigation, friction fire making, shelter building, and more while also grounding in activities designed to build self awareness and cultivate connection such as nature journaling, group storytelling, and solo sits. Through the four shields of survival and the four basic elements of nature we will see how creativity, connection, and survival skills all come together to create a thriving life! 

Camp Details:

• Cost:  $350 Before April 15th, $375 after
• Junior Mentor tuition: $150 per week (Ages 14+)
• Dates:August 3-7, 2020
• Days: Monday thru Friday
• Time: 9:30AM to 4:00PM  

Registration and Payment Information:

• Full payment is due at the time of registration. There will be no deposits or partial payments (aside from scholarship recipients).
• Junior Mentor tuition: $150 per week
• You will need to register for each session separately.
• Upon registration, you will be required to fill in the electronic camp forms for that child.
• Please complete your registration online whenever possible. There may be situations when online registration is not possible or is too cumbersome. In this case, please call directly to register over the phone: LandPaths Education Staff 707-544-7284 ext. 118. We can process credit card payments over the phone, and we do take checks and cash.

• Partial Scholarships and/or transportation scholarships may be available. If you are in need of tuition and/or transportation assistance, please fill out a Scholarship Application and return it to Luis Orozco: Luis@landpaths.org, 618 4th St., Suite #217, Santa Rosa, CA 95404 no later than May 10^th. Scholarships are available based on need and funding availability. Each scholarship recipient is asked to pay a $50 minimum. LandPaths covers the remaining tuition for those most in need. 
• Filling out the scholarship application does not guarantee a scholarship.

 Cancellation Policy:  Full payment is due on registration. $50 of your payment is considered "non-refundable." You can receive a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee, until two weeks prior to the first day of camp.  Cancellations made after less than two weeks before the first day of camp will not receive a refund.

Detalles del Campamento:

Detalles de Pago:

• No se aceptaran depósitos o pagos parciales (aparte de becados) en 2019. Sin embargo, sólo $50 de su pago se consideran "no reembolsables". Los reembolsos se ofrecerán hasta dos semanas antes del comienzo de la sesión de campo para el cual se ha registrado, reembolsa completa menos $50.
• Necesitará registrar a cada niño por separado.
• Al elegir una opción de pago, inmediatamente se le pedirá que llene los formularios electrónicos del campamento para el niño.
• Por favor complete su registro en línea siempre que sea posible. Puede haber situaciones en las cuales la registración en línea no es posible. • Becas parciales o becas de transporte pueden estar disponibles. Si llena una beca no se significa que automáticamente recibirá una beca.

Política de cancelación: El pago completo se debe en el momento de la inscripción. $ 50 de su pago se consideran "no reembolsables". Puede recibir un reembolso completo, menos una tarifa de procesamiento de $ 50, hasta dos semanas antes del primer día de campamento. Ofrecemos generosas becas a un tercio de nuestros campistas, con el objetivo de un cuerpo de campistas que sea un fiel reflejo de todos los que vivimos aquí en el Condado de Sonoma. En 2012, comenzamos a ofrecer un servicio de furgonetas desde Roseland hacia y desde nuestros campamentos, ya que nos dimos cuenta de que el transporte era el principal obstáculo para muchas familias.
