Animal tracking is a great way remember how to be in tune with land, and understand the behaviors of the many animals living near us.  Join LandPaths and local tracker Josephy Sybrian for a virtual introduction to the practice to animal tracking. Joseph will share some of the core elements of tracking, and the importance of observing our environment with our existing naturalist skills. This online workshop is for educational purposes, and  No experience is necessary to join. Pre-register at www.landpaths.org

Facilitator Bio: Joseph shares his passion for tracking and survival through weekly wanders around Sonoma County in hopes of  providing people with a foundation in animal tracking,  naturalist skills, and helping find their connection to nature. His passion for the outdoors was cemented at Tracker School in New Jersey under the Teachings of Tom Brown Jr. He supports creek restoration through Swift Water designs, based in Occidental. Swift water design uses process-based restoration to encourage better system function in riverscapes. With this work joe is able to track and observe animals (such as beavers) moving through our local watersheds. Joseph has now been tracking for over 9 years and plans to track for many more!
